The short answer is no.
I imported some custom Photoshop watercolour brushes into ArtCraft and here are the results. You can see the brush in Photoshop, painting as it is intended to on the right, and that same brush, imported into ArtCraft on the left.
What is ArtCraft?
It’s a vibecoded app said to replace Photoshop. The latest purported “Photoshop killer”
It certainly looks impressive, and has all the appearances of a full funtioning app, but like with all app development (and art projects too for that matter!) 90% of the work is in those final 10% of the project and by the looks of it, ArtCraft is still in the first 50% stage.
Without that last 10% of polishing, which for many apps has meant years of meticulous detail work, it’s just not useful in any serious projects.
And as for importing brushes, as AI likes to do, they are just play acting.
Many non-artists will look at this demo and say “That looks great to me! The brush is working well” But it’s just AI gaslighting. Any artist looking at those two brush strokes will see they just dont match at all.
ArtCraft is doing a very convincing impression of what an imported brush would look like, but it’s just an impression, it’s not my brush.
